The second game of the Section 5AA semifinals featured a second Minneapolis Public School, a repeat performer North Polars. The Polars have returned to this site for the semis for several years, but none more memorable than in 2020 when the semifinal game marked the end of the 201920 season due to Covid shutdowns.
But this year, seeing both Minneapolis Class AA teams in the semifinals brought a new memory that perhaps can eclipse the one of 2020.
