Minneapolis North entered Minneapolis Southwest with an 80-game Minneapolis City Conference boys basketball winning streak, a new coach, and packed house by fans from both teams. The game was as exciting as one could ask, with the lead bobbing up and down for both teams. In the end, the Lakers, led my a Herculean 31 point effort by junior Liam Farmoik, defended their home turf and the win. Great game by both teams.
