2-8-20 Ultimate Introduced to Kids at Ngong Road Children's Foundation

Thanks to the generous donation fo 50 discs by Discraft, the cooperation and coaching by club teams Black Fish Ultimate (Kisumu), Cool Waters (Nairobi), and Dahz Ultimate, and the kids from Ngong Road Children's Foundation (NRCF), the idea of growing the sport of ultimate in Kenya by introducing it to great kids was realized at this NRCF's Saturday Program. This was the virtual first huck of an ongoing relationship between the Kenyan ultimate community to continue to develop this wonderful sport.

The day started with some fun warmups, followed by classroom instruction. Then it was a free for all with lunch, followed by breakout coaching in small groups. The kids learned the basics skills with great joy. And why not? It's a fun game with fun players.

The day was capped off with a exhibition of the game by club teams, and then it was time for the newly instructed kids to get on the field and pair off for the first time.

It was a great day of play that ran beyond schedule because nobody wanted it to end.
