Held in the small rink at Parade Ice Garden, perhaps to create a more packed, intense setting, the crowds filled the place to the rafters and all around the rink. The visiting Orioles lead scoring 1-0 and shots on goal by a wide margin going into the final period, when Minneapolis scored all their goals, the last into am empty net, defend and take the win 3-1.
